Hi, I'm Kane, an East Sussex based wedding photographer working all over the South East including Kent, Sussex, Essex and Surrey. My preferred style of wedding photography is to capture real, genuine moments of you and your loved ones celebrating your big day.
The most common thing I hear from couples is 'I hate having my photo taken!'. Well, so do I! That is how I got into photography in fact. I was always the one wanting to take the photo so I didn't have to be in it! So, when I hear this from couples, I know exactly how they feel! My couples have told me that I have a very relaxed and calming presence which can be very helpful in amongst what can be quite a chaotic day, so I really pride myself on this. I have had some lovely feedback about this in particular.
I think an important part of this is to know when NOT to shoot! It might sound odd, coming from a wedding photographer, but sometimes, I know I will get better shots if I allow guests to settle in and relax first. Experience has taught me when and where to be throughout the day and when to anticipate good shots meaning beautiful moments are less likely to be missed, without my presence being intrusive.
I like to take a candid approach, getting natural shots and avoid taking you away from your guests for too long. I work with you and around your schedule to ensure any posed and formal group shots are as quick and efficient as possible to help your day go smoothly.
